    Looks like fun.

I won't be taking part because I am wank with long term things.

I entered fantasy football comp and forgot all about it after 4-5 weeks.

Good Luck to those who participate.

    Object

    - To hold a punting competition over the course of 2017 covering a wide variety of sporting events and fixtures in order to crown the Doublefinish.com Tipping Champion of the year.

    - To pay out prizes to first and second place (and third if over 10 entrants) according to the money in / money out basis.

    Format

    - Every Saturday throughout the year, each entrant will have a virtual pot of £100 to stake on up to and no more than three different fixtures of their choice. These can be from the day’s horse-racing meetings, football programme, rugby programme, in fact any sporting fixture taking place on the Saturday for which Paddy Power’s online bookmaking site or app has a market.

    - Throughout the year, players will be able to stake a virtual pot of £100 on other events on different days of the week. These will be numerous and often and will include but not be limited to:

    • Lakeside
    • PDC UK Darts Open, Matchplay, Grand Prix, GSoD and World Championships
    • Cheltenham Festival (Four days)
    • Aintree Grand National Meeting (Three Days)
    • Royal Ascot (Five Days)
    • Classics Meetings
    • Glorious Goodwood
    • The four golf majors
    • The four tennis majors

    Rules

    - The cost of entry to the competition is £25 which needs to be transferred to JY Kelly by April 1st 2017 for safe-keeping.

    - Players may enter the tournament after April 1st, on the understanding that they must transfer their entry fee to JY Kelly before their first bets are accepted.

    - Players who wish to withdraw from the event must do so by April 1st if they want a refund. No refunds will be paid after April 1st.

    - Every Saturday, each player stakes a virtual £100 on up to and no more than three different sporting fixtures from any event that has a market on the Paddy Power online betting site or app. Stakes can be whatever the player wish but they must total exactly £100. For example:

Sat 7th January Player A stakes:
£25 on West Ham to beat Arsenal
£4 Lucky 15 on Leicester, Liverpool, Birmingham and Crewe (£60 total)
£15 on Selby to beat Robinson

Sat 7th January Player B stakes:
£80 on Thistlecrack, 1.20pm Haydock to win
£10ew on Cue Card 1.45pm Kempton

Sat 7th January Player C stakes:
£100 on New York Knicks to beat Cleveland Cavaliers

Bets can be singles, accumulators, Lucky 15s and Yankees. Note that multi-bets class as one stake and is the total amount of the bet. Remember to account for any each way bets you wish to submit.

A special thread for each weekend and special event will be started by one of the organisers for you to list your stakes. Each stake must come with a screenshot from Paddy Power’s betting site or app showing the odds available at the time you enter. These will be the odds at which your returns will be calculated. Please try to keep your selections as clear as possible to avoid mistakes.

All entries must be on the thread by 12 Noon on the Saturday. Late entries will be discarded.

The same process will apply for all other events that take place on different days of the week throughout the year.

    - Players do not have to enter every week however, to stop people resting on their laurels after they land a 1000/1 winner in week one, all players must stake a total amount of £8000 over the course of the year. This equates to playing on at least 80 days.

    Scoring

    - Players will be virtually paid according to the odds of the event that they screenshot from the Paddy Power online betting site or app.

    - Winning amounts (not including stakes) will be added to your score. Losing stakes will be subtracted from your score.

    - We aim to provide up to date league tables regularly.

    - At the end of the year, prizes will be paid out to the most successful players.

    Disputes and Complaints

Obviously, we will try to run the tournament as fairly and accurately as possible but if mistakes or made or you have an issue, please take it up directly with us. As a group of mates, there is no reason why things won’t be settled to everyone’s satisfaction.
    Any luck?

Shouldn't FW be keeping a low profile after that embarrassing thread on Friday night, rather than goading others?
