The Queen is Dead is a well rounded album but Strangeways Here we Come is more accomplished.
Either way, yes i would have The Smiths win it.

Yes, extremely good band.
Not going to change my opinion though.

Knowing how the Brits work, this award will probably be won by Busted or someone like that.

Marillion's Misplaced Childhood.

If it goes to a public vote it'll probably be the best of Kylie

The stuff she released whilst signed to deconstruction is pretty decent.

I just can't stand the talentless Antipodean dwarf mate. Probably akin to my unnatural dislike of Man U

Do we know if its a public vote? If so, i'd wager none of us will be happy with result.

I agree she's got a poor overall body of work (nice arse though), but she's had 3 or 4 very good songs. Signing to deconstruction was a massive risk as they were a smallish label which specialised in house music and the songs she released then were different than the shite she churned out afterwards, and before. Have a play around on yow toob when you're bored and have a listen. It's not bad stuff.

Dannar. They were a very small label and whether they had the staff to write stuff for her, I doubt. Suppose they could have payed someone to write for her.

After she left Deconstruction I know Kathy Dennis (remember her?...Ginger) wrote Can't Get You Out Of My Heed.

I'm sure she's wrote a shedload of hits over the last 15 years or so.

She must be minted?
